Portal 2023
Portal is an abstract expressionist work from my most recent exhibition at Tenby Museum & Art Gallery. It alludes to earlier Dreamscapes work portraying deep emotion from the subconsious created with expressive mark making and use of colour.
The painting is underpainted in acrylics, with oil paint and oil sticks making up the finishing surfaces. The painting is a joyful array of energy, light and colour with dominant aqua hues.
